Video tutorial
The video shows how to reset the tyre pressure warning light on an Opel Astra K with an indirect system, which uses ABS sensors to calculate tyre pressure based on their rotation speed. First, check the tyre pressures against the values indicated on the driver’s door pillar. The procedure is done with the vehicle stationary and the engine running. On the steering wheel, press the "Menu" button and navigate to "Vehicle" and then to "Tyre Pressure". Confirm with "OK". Now you will see the values for the front and rear axles and the calibration button. Pull the handbrake and press the "OK" button until a confirmation message appears on the display: "Do you want to calibrate?" Select "Yes"; you will hear a beep and the light will remain on. Now you need to drive 5/15 miles at a speed above 15 mph, during which the system learns the new characteristics. At the end of the calibration, the light will turn off automatically.

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Kia Niro EV, inflate the tyres until they reach the correct pressure value. This value is indicated on the sticker attached to the driver's door pillar. Once the tyres are inflated, turn on the instrument cluster to check that the warning light has completely disappeared from the display. If it is still present, you may need to drive for a few miles to ensure it disappears completely from the screen. by ScegliAuto More videos
