How to remove the light switch knob on an Opel Astra? Watch this video carefully to see how to proceed with the correct disassembly. The knob to be removed is located to the left of the dashboard; use plastic levers (or a screwdriver) to remove the knob from the dashboard. Rotate it slightly to the right and pull it away from the dashboard. Extract the knob and disconnect the power connector. To refit it in the dashboard: insert the light knob into the dashboard slot after connecting the power cable. Test the knob for correct operation.
