Removing the Front Brake Pads on an Opel Meriva

Here’s how to remove the front disc brake pads on an Opel Meriva. Lift the car using a column jack (crick) to the desired height, then remove the wheel (using a telescopic spanner) along with the respective bolts. Unscrew the locking bolt of the brake caliper and remove it from the bracket. Take off the pads to be replaced from the wheel hub caliper, and remove the brake caliper. Attach the new pads to the caliper; mount the brake caliper with the bracket onto the brake disc. Tighten all the bolts and refit the wheel. Prepare to perform the same operations on the other calipers if they need replacing.
