Opel Astra K engine air filter replacement

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra K - Years 2015-2022
Part: Air filter

Keeping the engine air filter clean and efficient is very important for both engine performance and fuel consumption: it is therefore advisable to keep it clean and replace it if necessary; the engine air filter box is located next to the right front mudguard (passenger side) and in order to replace the filter you must first disconnect the plastic intake duct and the rubber tube that connects the mass air flow sensor to the intake manifold; at this point unscrew the fixing screws of the filter box cover and lift it in order to release and extract the worn filter; proceed backwards to install the new filter, taking care to hook the plastic safety catch.
