How to Replace the Air Filter on an Opel Astra

Here's how to remove the engine air filter on an Opel Astra. Open the car door, pull up the lever to open the engine compartment located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then open the air intake kit (unscrew the securing screws around it), uncover the filter box cap and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Finally, reassemble the air box cap and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet after completing the task.
