Timing Belt Replacement

Replacing the timing belt is a delicate operation, advisable only for experienced individuals. Obtain the replacement belt, tensioner pulleys, tensioners, the belt installation diagram, and special tools. Start by removing components that obstruct the work, such as the pipe and air box, then the cover and the pump belt. Remove the front wheels and secure the vehicle. Using a spanner and the appropriate tool, lock the pulley and loosen the tensioner. Lever the tensioner to relieve tension and remove the belt. Remove the bolts from the two tensioner supports and take them out. Replace the pulleys and tensioners with new parts, ensuring all components are reassembled correctly. Install the tensioners and new belts following the assembly diagram. Refit the cover and other removed components.
