Today's main instructions will show us how to disassemble and replace the timing belt on the Opel Vectra 1.8 16V, with engine code Z18XE. First, we open the hood of the car and start by disassembling and removing the air filter box; then we remove the V-belt, loosening the tensioner, as shown in the video. At this point, we lift the car and remove the engine protection cover; we disassemble the timing cover and take the necessary references for the subsequent timing setting; we then replace the timing belt and the water pump kit.
