The water pump of the Opel Corsa 1.4 petrol mentioned works on the same principle as any vehicle with an internal combustion engine, which is to circulate the coolant between the engine and the radiator to cool it and lower the temperature. It is closely linked to the auxiliary belt, which drives its rotation, and it is advisable to replace this belt periodically along with the pump.

Start by disconnecting the inlet and outlet hoses, then disconnect the power connector and finally unscrew the locking bolts. Follow the reverse procedure to install the new pump.
