To disconnect the airbag electrical circuit and for safety reasons, the first step is to disconnect the battery under the bonnet. When doing this, remember to first unscrew and then disconnect the negative terminal (as always) and only then the positive terminal.

Now, to remove the airbag from the steering wheel, simply insert a small flat screwdriver into the hole located on the side behind the steering wheel. After inserting it, move it a bit until you manage to release the internal clip of the airbag.

Do the same with the opposite hole, and the airbag will come out of its housing. Disconnect the connectors, and you're done.

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Kia Niro EV, inflate the tyres until they reach the correct pressure value. This value is indicated on the sticker attached to the driver's door pillar. Once the tyres are inflated, turn on the instrument cluster to check that the warning light has completely disappeared from the display. If it is still present, you may need to drive for a few miles to ensure it disappears completely from the screen.
