How to Remove the Alternator on an Opel Zafira B 1.6 VVT

In this video tutorial, you will see all the steps to remove and replace the alternator on an Opel Zafira B with a 1.6 VVT engine. First, open the bonnet of your car and start by removing the air filter box, disconnecting the intake hose and unscrewing the fixing screws. Next, loosen the tensioner of the auxiliary belt to remove it, as shown in the video. Now, use a socket spanner to unscrew the fixing bolts of the alternator. Disconnect the battery and remove the front right wheel along with the wheel arch liner: now you can replace the alternator!
