Replacing the Gear Knob on an Opel Astra

Press the rear button and pull (slightly rotating) the upper part of the knob to separate it from the stem. If you need to change the gaiter as well, use a plastic lever (not metal!) or a small flat screwdriver to detach the frame from its housing, doing this slowly and carefully.

In this model and other Opels made in the same years, you will be fortunate that the gaiter will detach with the frame itself, making the job easier. Now disconnect the connector and fit the new gaiter by snapping it into place, then mount the knob tip by pressing the rear button and pushing it firmly into position.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
