How to Remove the Fuel Pump on Opel Astra G

This guide shows how to remove and replace the fuel pump or float pump on the Opel Astra G, second series, in simple steps. First, remove the rear seat by lifting it upwards; then remove the plastic cover. At this point, disconnect the fuel lines and the electrical connector for the fuel level sensor, as shown in the video. Finally, unscrew the pump ring using the appropriate tool or by tapping with a flat screwdriver to extract it and replace it with the new one!
