Airbag Removal Operation

This video explains how to remove the airbag from the steering wheel of an Opel Astra H. In this case, the steering wheel appears already disassembled; it illustrates how there are fixing springs for the airbag corresponding to the spokes of the steering wheel; behind the spokes, there are access holes to press and release the springs. Therefore, insert a screwdriver or any similar tool into the appropriate holes and press towards the centre of the steering wheel to detach the springs from their anchoring points. Once the horn connection is released, you can disconnect the airbag wires from the steering wheel.
