How do you deactivate the passenger airbag of the Opel Astra?

In order to deactivate the passenger airbag of the Opel Astra, you need to open the front passenger door so that you can locate the lock on the side of the dashboard: by inserting the key into this dashboard, you can turn it to move it from ON to OFF. Once the lock has been moved, you can deactivate the airbag, as indicated by the specific warning light that will come on; to reactivate the airbag, simply turn the lock again from OFF to ON.
