Replacing the tappet cover membrane on Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra J - Years 2009-2016
Part: EGR valve

After removing the cover, heat all the areas that fix the smoke valve with a hairdryer. To remove it, once heated, it will be sufficient to pry it underneath with one or two flat screwdrivers, lifting it and then extracting it from its seat. If you see that you are struggling, heat the gasket again. Warm up the area immediately next to the same valve to remove the lid, as shown in the video. Take the new membrane you purchased and put it back in place exactly as it was the one you removed, then fit the valve and close the lid by simply pressing.
