Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Model: Vauxhall Vivaro MK 1 - Years 2001-2014

Lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift, remove the lower plastic cover that acts as a splash guard to access the oil sump. Position a suitable container to collect the used oil and unscrew the drain plug of the sump; once draining is complete, reattach the plug with a new gasket. Next, proceed to replace the oil filter cartridge located right in front of the oil sump: unscrew the plastic cap, remove the old cartridge, and insert the new one, also replacing the o-ring gasket usually included in the filter kit. Finally, fill the engine with new oil according to the quantities and SAE specifications indicated in the owner's manual.
