How to replace the engine oil and oil filter of the Opel Vivaro

Model: Vauxhall Vivaro MK 1 - Years 2001-2014

We begin the oil change by opening the front hood of the vehicle and unscrewing the oil tank cap, in order to pour in the pre-change liquid that will need to act for five minutes with the engine running in order to eliminate all residues of the used oil once it has been drained from the oil pan. We lift the front part of our Vivaro and let the oil drain into a container by unscrewing the nut on the oil pan. We unscrew the nut, located in order to remove the box and be able to replace the filter. We clean the housing of the box, replace the gaskets, and install the new filter inside. We bring the vehicle back to the ground by removing the stands, and pour about 4 liters of engine oil into the tank. We close the front hood and start the vehicle's engine to warm up the oil and check that the level is adequate in the container.
