How to Replace the Radio Screen on the Opel Astra K

This guide will explain the procedure for replacing the radio screen on the Opel Astra K (from 2015 onwards). It is recommended to perform this procedure with both the engine and ignition completely off. Follow these steps: 1. Remove the plastic supports and the subsequent clip supports on the passenger and driver sides, located near the ignition key insert; 2. Unscrew the 2 screws located on opposite sides of the radio, which are 7mm hex screws; 3. Remove the electronic block of the screen along with its panel, taking care during the removal of the electrical cables; 4. Once the electronic block of the panel is isolated, remove the corresponding screws with a T10 screwdriver and gently pull out the flat cables from the circuit board; 5. Replace the old radio panel with the new part. To install it, align it with the previously removed circuit board, placing the new panel on top, ensuring the flat cables are correctly inserted during the installation of the new panel; 6. Complete the installation of the entire radio block by reversing the previous steps; 7. Check that the radio panel functions correctly by turning the key and activating the ignition.
