Replacing the Oil Pressure Sensor

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa B - Years 1993-2000

Oil pressure is a very important parameter for the proper functioning of the engine. The engine oil pressure sensor is located at the front left of the engine (when viewed from the front), near the exhaust manifold and the water pump hoses. Its replacement is extremely simple: disconnect the connector and unscrew it from its seat; then apply the new sensor, tightening it until fully seated without exceeding the torque; finally, reconnect the connector. Start the engine and ensure that the oil pressure warning light goes out to confirm the proper functioning of the new sensor.
