How to Replace the Fuel Filter on an Opel Zafira

Model: Vauxhall Zafira Zafira A, MK 1, T98 - Years 1999-2005

In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the fuel filter on an Opel Zafira. The first step is to purchase a new diesel filter; next, get inside the vehicle, pull the handbrake, and lift the bonnet; secure the bonnet with the appropriate prop. Remove the seal located under the windscreen. Remove the upper part of the water deflector. Use 4w-D spray and with a 10 mm socket, unscrew the fasteners on the lower part of the deflector. Once the fasteners are removed, take off the lower part of the water deflector; disconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector. Clean the fuel filter housing with a multi-purpose spray cleaner; using a 30 Torx key, unscrew the fasteners of the filter container cover. Remove the cover from the filter container. Take out the old filter and insert the new filter, then reassemble all parts in reverse order.
