Instructions for Removing the Front Seat

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006

To remove the front seat, start by detaching the seatbelt: remove the plastic protection cap located at the junction of the seat base and backrest and unscrew the seatbelt fixing bolt; slide the seat all the way forward and then all the way back to unscrew the fixing bolts of the runners to the vehicle floor; once the seat is free, tilt it to disconnect the pretensioner connectors (this device detects the presence of a passenger in the seat and activates the airbag in the event of a collision) and remove it from the cabin.
