How to Change the Oil Filter on the Vauxhall Insignia?

The oil filter replacement should be done when the circuit is completely empty, making it an excellent opportunity to perform a full engine oil change as well. To drain the circuit, you need to access the oil sump and unscrew the bolt that seals it. Once there is no more oil, tighten the bolt again and move on to the filter. This is located right next to the sump, and you can unscrew it with a suitably sized socket. Remove both the cartridge and the seal and replace them with new parts, lubricate well, and then reposition the filter in its place. The last thing to do is top up with new engine oil.
