In this new guide for all Opel Astra J owners (2009-2016), we will explain how to correctly perform the manual reset of the engine oil light independently. First, enter the car and get into the driver's seat.

Next, ensure all doors are closed and then turn on the instrument panel. At this point, press the "Menu" button located on the left stalk of the steering wheel and find the oil life remaining option on the display.

Finally, as indicated on the display, press and hold the "Set/Clear" button until the reset is complete.
