Replacing the Oil Pressure Sensor

Replacing the oil pressure sensor is straightforward; it is recommended to perform this maintenance with the engine cold since the sensor is screwed directly into the engine; it is located near the oil level dipstick: disconnect the plug attached to it and unscrew the sensor itself; then insert the new sensor, ensuring to use a new copper washer and screw it in manually until fully seated, then tighten it with the appropriate spanner; finally, clean the plug with contact spray and connect it to the sensor, ensuring the locking mechanism clicks into place.
