On the Opel Astra, the operation to reset the Service light involves inserting the ignition key and turning it to power on the instrument cluster. Once the instrument cluster is powered on, press the MENU button on the lever to the left of the steering wheel, navigating through it with the arrows on the same lever.

When you find the maintenance option, press the SET/CLR button: a confirmation message will appear. By selecting "Yes" using the same buttons on the left lever, the light will completely disappear from the display.
