How to remove the radio from an Opel Astra K

In this video, you will see how to remove the main radio unit from the dashboard of the Opel Astra K: You will need a plastic trim tool, which will help you remove the various parts without damaging them. Start by prying from the dashboard above the glove compartment: It is all clipped in, so it comes out quite easily. Then remove the section of the dashboard near the steering wheel, followed by the entire silver trim that decorates the lower part of the dashboard. Now, using a screwdriver, you can remove the screws that secure the radio unit to the dashboard, and then disconnect the electrical connectors at the back.
