In this video, we see an Opel Insignia that displayed the error code 68 on the instrument panel, causing a complete lack of communication between the control unit and the engine. In fact, the ECU was damaged. Being located right next to the engine, it is possible for excess heat to damage it, and anything that can come from the ground certainly does not do any good to electronic equipment. The problem was indeed damaged soldering and some broken pins, so we had to rebuild them where they were missing and resolder the equipment where it was damaged; of course, we also had to check the wiring, which in a couple of cases was interrupted.
