A Problem with the Horn on the Opel Astra

In this video, we see the problem of an Opel Astra whose horn sometimes stops working, likely due to a poor connection; this is confirmed by the fact that pressing the horn increases the volume of the radio. Conversely, if you adjust the radio volume control from the steering wheel, it does not work. Therefore, it is almost certain that the controls have oxidised: by tapping, the horn works; an unorthodox but effective method, as the steering wheel volume control now also functions. The remedy would be to remove the airbag and clean the connections that have likely oxidised.
