Instructions for Removing the Catalytic Converter

If you decide to remove the catalytic converter and install a direct pipe, known as a downpipe, you must consider that emissions may no longer comply with anti-pollution regulations. After installation, it is advisable to check the exhaust gas quality with appropriate equipment. The installation of the downpipe requires the removal of the catalytic converter located just below the exhaust manifold and the installation of a custom-shaped direct pipe with connection flanges. Once the engine has cooled down, disconnect the sensor and remove the catalytic converter, then install the pipe and refit the sensor.
