How to Replace the Timing Chain on the Opel Mokka?

To replace the timing chain on the Opel Mokka, completely remove the engine from its housing: loosen the screws securing it to the respective mounts to detach it. Once the engine block is removed, detach the side protection panel of the engine block, under which the chain will be found. The tensioner can then be removed from its housing by unscrewing the securing bolts and reducing the chain tension to remove it; after removal, insert the new chain and cover everything with the panel.
