In this tutorial, see how to replace the gear knob in an Opel Astra, a very simple and quick operation. First, go inside the cabin, then using a plastic spatula to avoid leaving any marks, unclip the base of the gaiter from the centre tunnel. Next, detach the blue plastic ring using a flat-head screwdriver, grip the knob, and pull it upwards to separate it from the shaft. At this point, position the replacement and fit it by simply following the reverse procedure.
