Remove the panel covering the key battery and take it out. Now, using a thin but sturdy plastic tool, insert it into the gap that divides the key and apply leverage between the two halves of the key to separate them. Next, remove the electronic board from the key and open the new shell to reassemble all the parts into the new key, ensuring to match the positions of the old key. If you have a new electronic board, you will need to code the key; otherwise, your new key is ready.
