How to Replace the Starter Motor on an Opel Meriva

Model: Vauxhall Meriva MK 2, Meriva B - Years 2010-2017
Part: Starter motor

First, disconnect the negative battery terminal to protect the electronic components. You will also need to remove the battery tray and the fuel filter. Next, locate the starter motor, which is situated at the back of the alternator. To access it, raise your vehicle and support it on axle stands. Once located, unscrew the bolts securing it, disconnect the connectors, and also remove the central bolt on the starter motor accessible from the top of the engine bay. Now, replace the starter motor and retrace your steps for reinstallation.
