How do you reset the Service light on the Opel Antara?

Model: Vauxhall Antara MK 1 - Years 2006-2015

In order to reset the Service light of the Opel Antara, you need to turn on the instrument panel by turning the key in the ignition switch: once the panel is on, you can press the accelerator pedal three times in a row and all the way down. This will allow you to then turn the ignition key in the opposite direction to turn off the instrument panel; then you can turn on the panel again. When the new ignition occurs, you will notice that the Service light has completely disappeared from the display.
