The steps to replace the flat battery in the key/remote of the Opel Vivaro are simple and quick, and can be done independently, aided by our short video tutorial. The first step is to insert a flathead screwdriver into the left corner of the key to open the remote.

The second step is to remove the battery. The third step is to insert the new battery and close the remote.

Finally, go near the vehicle to test the key's functionality; if it does not work, reprogramming the key may be necessary.
