Replacement of the air filter of the Peugeot 308 MK2

One of the operations included in the maintenance service of the Peugeot 308 MK2 is the replacement of the air filter mounted on the intake circuit. To do this, we need to open the hood of the engine compartment, release the panel in the center of the engine, the filter box can be found near the splash guard, using a Torx screwdriver we unscrew the two screws that secure the cover, release the metal clip on the left side and cut the plastic strap that holds the breather pipe. We remove the inlet pipe and we can remove the cover, take out the old filter, place a new one in its place, put back the cover, insert the inlet pipe, attach the side clip, tighten the screws, secure the pipe with a new strap and put back the protection.
