On the Peugeot 2008, resetting the Service light involves pressing and holding the button located in the centre of the instrument panel, which has the spanner icon and the text "0.00" next to it. While holding this button, you can insert the ignition key and turn it so that the instrument panel lights up. A countdown with the spanner icon will appear on the instrument panel display: when this countdown ends, the Service light will disappear from the instrument panel, which you can verify by turning the instrument panel off and on again.
