To replace the battery of a Peugeot 308 key, start by locating the small hole on the side of the key. Using a flathead screwdriver or a similar tool, pry open the key shell. Once opened, you will see the battery inside. Remove it carefully, being careful not to damage the battery contacts. Take a new battery of the same size and type and insert it into the slot of the old battery, making sure the contacts are in the correct position. Close the key shell and make sure it is securely fastened. Then test the key to make sure it works properly.
