To replace the key battery of a Peugeot 308, start by locating the small hole on the side of the key. Using a flat screwdriver or a similar tool, lever it open to access the key shell. Once opened, you will see the battery inside.

Carefully remove it, taking care not to damage the battery contacts. Take a new battery of the same size and type and insert it into the compartment of the old battery, ensuring the contacts are in the correct position.
