This brief guide will show us how to disassemble and replace the battery of the engine of the Peugeot 308 1.6 HDI. First of all, we open the hood of the car and start removing the air intake hose; then we unscrew the screw of the battery bracket, using a socket wrench with extension, also removing the side part, as shown in the video. At this point, we disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative poles), in order to remove it; now we install the new battery, of the right type and with the same amperage!
