Today's guide will show you the necessary steps to remove and replace the engine battery on the Peugeot 308 1.6 HDI, as well as the 208. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and start by removing the plastic battery cover. Also, remove the control unit located beside it, as shown in the video. At this point, disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative), then unscrew the bolt of the bracket found at the bottom right. Remove the battery from the engine bay and replace it with a new one of the same amperage.
