How to replace the oil and oil filter on a Peugeot 307? Here’s how to proceed with the replacement: lift the car on a column lift (jack) and undo the bolt of the oil sump, allowing the oil to drain into a container (tighten the bolt after draining). Lower the car back to the ground, then open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Using a socket, undo the oil filter (remove it) and position a new one, ensuring it fits well around the thread. Remove the cap on the cylinder head and top up with new oil.
