Replacing Rear Brake Pads on Peugeot 3008

To replace the rear brake pads, you need a specific diagnostic tool that has the command to open the calipers, as this vehicle is equipped with an electric handbrake. The first step is to connect the diagnostic tool and activate the command to open the rear calipers in maintenance position. Next, lift the vehicle, remove the wheel and the brake caliper. Extract the old pads, retract the caliper piston using the appropriate tool that allows for rotation, insert the new pads, reassemble the caliper and wheel, and then, using the diagnostic tool, reposition the calipers in the operating position.
