Let's see how to replace an ignition coil on a Peugeot 2008: start by disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery, remove the engine cover. Locate the ignition coil to be replaced (a black plastic component with an attached electrical connector, from which the spark plug wires originate); press the release lever on the connector and disconnect it from the coil; unscrew the bolts that secure the coil to the base and pull it upwards. You can find the coils on auto-doc. It with the EAN code 4059191989690 at a price of 22.49 euros each + 9.95 euros for delivery: take it and apply a thin layer of dielectric grease on the bottom of the stem: Insert it and tighten the two fixing bolts, without over-tightening. Reconnect the electrical connector, reassemble the engine cover and reconnect the negative battery terminal.
