Below we will discover the information that will show us how to disassemble and replace the timing belt of the Peugeot 5008 1.6 HDi. First, we open the hood of the car and start disassembling and removing the engine support, unscrewing the fixing screws; then we loosen the tensioner, disconnecting the alternator belt. At this point, we lift the car and remove the crankshaft pulley, removing the distribution cover; we take the necessary references for the replacement of the timing belt, installing the new original one. If necessary, we replace the water pump kit, following the video tutorial until the end.
