How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Peugeot 208

To replace the timing belt on a Peugeot 208: lift the car on a column lift (jack), remove the front wheel, use a screwdriver to detach the right wheel arch liner and remove the timing belt cover. Once these steps are completed, lift the bonnet, remove the engine soundproofing panel, and use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off. After fitting the new belt, use the spanner to tension the tensioner pulley until the correct tension is achieved on the belt (previously fitted). Finally, check the tensioner and the belt itself, and tighten everything with a socket wrench.
