How to replace the front shock absorbers of the Peugeot 3008.

Today we will explain how to replace the front shock absorbers of the Peugeot 3008 1. First, we open the front hood and remove the windshield frame and wipers. We take off the covers of the wiper arm nuts and, using a 13mm socket wrench, we unscrew the nuts and remove the arms with small upward movements. Next, we remove the plastic covers to take off the windshield frame seal. Using a 21mm Allen key and a 7mm socket wrench, we unscrew the nut of the upper shock absorber cup. We then remove the front wheels and lift the vehicle to replace the front shock absorbers. We detach the joint from the stabilizer bar and the shock absorbers using a link, and with a wire brush, we clean the threads of the screws and use a penetrating oil to unscrew the nut with an 18mm socket wrench; we loosen the screw located at the base of the shock absorber and remove the nut with an 18mm wrench. If we vary the base of the shock absorber from the hub carrier, we support the hub carrier lock and unscrew the fixing screws of the upper shock absorber cup. We detach the shock absorber from the spring to remove it. We then select the shock absorber inside the upper cup and begin the installation by reversing the procedure.
