How to replace the fog light bulb of the Peugeot 208.

The fog light bulbs on the Peugeot 208 (as well as on all modern cars) are very expensive because they are proprietary: we can't buy them at the supermarket. They are indeed H8 halogen lamps or a proprietary LED version. Therefore, it is essential to first remove the old one and check the code printed on the base before replacing it. Even if the code is H8, the electrical connector and support are proprietary to Peugeot, so it's not enough to buy a generic H8; you need an original Peugeot part or a specific aftermarket part for Peugeot. The simplest way to remove the bulb is to access it from the wheel well, turning the wheel fully to the opposite side. We remove the wheel arch liner and will then see the fog light. Disconnect the connector and unlock the bulb. It is highly recommended to replace both fog light bulbs, even if the other one is not burnt out; the other will have a short lifespan, and at least they will have the same intensity and color.
