As of today, there are several methods to address the issue of the Start&Stop system engaging on diesel vehicles. In the following video tutorial, we will show you a small trick to implement on a Peugeot 2008 GT. To prevent the vehicle from shutting off at a traffic light or when it appears to be stationary, which would activate the Start&Stop system, we need to turn the steering wheel left and right until we start moving again; by doing this, the system will not engage. There are other methods to prevent the system from activating; the most long-lasting one is definitely to deactivate the system by making modifications to the engine control unit.
