Let's see how to replace the diesel filter on a Peugeot 3008. It is located in the rear left compartment of the car, protected by a plastic panel secured with 10 mm nuts. You can find the filter on auto-doc.it: it is a Purflux code C875 priced at €16.67, plus delivery charges of €9.95. Remove the panel. Unscrew the cap with a 16 mm Allen key inserted into the central hole, while using a 22 mm to remove the large outer nut that secures the filter assembly. Extract the old filter which is clipped in, insert the new one, changing the seals as well, which we will lubricate with a bit of diesel before fitting. Refit the cap by screwing it down until it is tight and re-secure the protective panel. After replacement, it is necessary to fill the new filter with diesel and bleed the air from the system; simply turn the ignition on and off several times without starting the engine to activate the fuel pump and circulate the fuel. Before driving off, ensure that the filter is full.
