How to Activate and Deactivate Lane Assist on a Peugeot 508

Let's see how to activate and deactivate the lane assist system on a Peugeot 508: first, you need to know that it works in conjunction with adaptive cruise control. So first, activate the adaptive cruise control on the panel in the centre of the dashboard or on the steering wheel (this depends on the trim level), switch the cruise control button to "ON" and set your desired speed. Then, activate the lane assist by pressing the button depicting a car between two lines: it is located near the previous one. A white indicator light will appear on the dashboard showing the car between two lines, indicating that the system is active and ready for use. Once active, the system helps keep the vehicle centred in the lane: the indicator on the dashboard will turn green when the system is detecting the lines: it deactivates by pressing the dedicated button again.
